These terms cover the 1k website, API and widget. Please read them with the risks page before trading or depositing.
1. What 1k is
1k (“we”) is a website, API and embeddable widget that finds prices for onchain assets across third-party venues, bridges and pools, and prepares transactions for your wallet to sign. We never take custody of your assets. Every trade, transfer and deposit is a transaction you sign yourself, executed by smart contracts we do not control (such as KyberSwap, LI.FI, Uniswap, Metric, Jupiter, Relay and others), or by our router contract on Robinhood Chain, which passes funds through within the same transaction.
By using 1k you agree to these terms, to the risks described separately and to our privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. Who may use it
You must be an adult able to enter a binding agreement. You may not use 1k if you are, or act for, a person subject to sanctions, or if you are located in a country or region under comprehensive sanctions.
Tokenized stocks are restricted by their issuers. Robinhood, xStocks, Ondo, Coinbase, Backpack and other issuers each limit who may hold their tokens; many are not available to persons in the United States or other jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to check and follow the rules that apply to you and to each token. We may limit access from some places.
3. Your wallet
You control your wallet and its keys; we cannot recover them, reverse a transaction or cancel one once it is signed. Check every transaction your wallet shows you before you approve it, including the amounts, the destination and any token approval.
4. Quotes and execution
- We ask many sources for a price and show you the results ranked by what you would receive, net of our fee and, where we can estimate it, of network costs. We do not guarantee the best price available anywhere.
- Quotes move with the market. Your minimum received is set by your slippage setting; a trade that cannot meet it fails, and you may still pay network fees.
- Cross-chain transfers are carried out by third-party bridges. They can be delayed, and their timing and final amounts are set by the bridge.
- Prices, marks and “vs market” figures are references from third parties (such as Hyperliquid) and may be wrong, delayed or unavailable.
5. Fees
- Platform fee. Most trades include a fee of 0.05% (5 basis points), already deducted from the amount you see. It is collected by our router, by the venue as its integrator fee, or, on Solana, by a transfer inside the same transaction. Some routes carry no fee from us; the quote shows which.
- Third-party fees. Venues, bridges and networks charge their own fees and gas, shown in the quote where they report them.
- Pools. Pools run on Metric. Trades in a pool pay a spread; Metric keeps a protocol share and the pool's curator may keep a curator fee (up to 15%) before depositors are paid. For pools opened through 1k by other curators, the curator fee is split 80% to the curator and 20% to 1k by an immutable 0xSplits contract. Deposits made with another token are swapped first, and that swap pays the platform fee.
6. Pools and curators
Deposits sit in Metric's pool contracts, not with us. A pool's curator chooses its price source, bins, protections and fee, and can pause quoting or change its fee within Metric's limits. We do not manage your deposit. Earnings shown are estimates from past fees and are not promised.
If you open a pool you are its curator: you are responsible for its settings and for any rules that apply to running it.
7. Tokenized stocks
A tokenized stock is a token issued by a third party that tracks a company's share price. It is not a share of that company, and what it entitles you to (dividends, votes, redemption) depends entirely on its issuer's terms. Tokens of the same company from different issuers are different assets with different prices. Outside market hours their prices come from oracles and onchain liquidity and may differ from the next market open.
8. Information, not advice
Market data, company research, filings, news, calendars and analytics on 1k come from third parties and are provided for information only. Nothing on 1k is investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
9. API and widget
You may use the public API and widget in your own product, subject to these terms and to fair rate limits. Partner fees you add through the widget are yours to disclose to your users. We may change or limit the API at any time and may block abusive use.
10. What you may not do
- Break any law or sanction, or use 1k to hide where funds come from.
- Manipulate prices, oracles or pools, or trade on information you are not allowed to use.
- Attack, overload or probe the service, or scrape it beyond the published API limits.
- Pretend to be 1k, or copy its pages to mislead people.
11. No warranty
1k is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, slow or wrong, and the third-party contracts and services it uses may fail.
12. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from your use of 1k, from third-party contracts, venues, bridges, oracles, issuers or networks, from market moves, or from transactions you sign. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees we received from you in the three months before the claim.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use 1k after a change means you accept it.
